Traffic – it is the uploaded and downloaded information by your visitors. In fact, outgoing traffic is not limited, and usually we shouldn’t pay for it, but we’ll have to pay for the incoming traffic, in the ratio of the average of 1:10.
It happens for example, if in one day we have 100 visitors, which look only for one page that weight 50k, then the incoming traffic will be 100 * 50 = 5000Kb, 5000:10 = 500kb.

But the user look more than one page and not all pages weight about 50k.
I hasten to break off in the first place those who are going to do the site with a catalogue of programs, pictures, photos and all sorts of “heavy” files. The fact is that the web hosting company in its price lists write that traffic is unlimited, but in reality it is not the truth, there are reasonable limits … Of course, you can dispute this fact in court, as you’ve been promised in the contract to have no traffic, but of course it will give you a little, because the company would not keep such site.

In general, the reality of things is so. At the time of writing this article, my site actually is closed, and there work only a few sections of text and that, in principle, and prompted me to write this article.

The fact is that as soon as you will roll out your site, and you will have a lot of visitors who will begin to download programs, photos, pictures, etc. It is likely that your website or the relevant sections will be closed as my. In my case it was so: on the site came about 6000 visitors and pumped 3.5 GB of traffic.
Hosting company simply had to turn off my site. Per month it would amounted more than 100GB.

And with such traffic, it is unlikely that some company will take your site. And at the moment I’m still looking for where can I attach my site, because I don’t earn any money on it. Out of all this you can make a conclusion that if your site is not with text content, you should beforehand ask about maximum permitted traffic when choosing a hosting company.
For example, the company Valuehost yields only up to 15Gb. traffic per month, although in the price list they say “no limit”. Of course, if you want more traffic, it can be purchased for an additional fee. So, before you spread “heavy” files on your site consider, will you be able to recover it?

Before you buy any web hosting, you need to go through the hosting reviews routine. Of course you need to be realistic and understand that now every cpanel hosting will be unbiased. But if you go through the nice number of web hosting unlimited sites - you will see the true picture.
