A few words about reselling.
I’d like to face the question of reselling because it refers to the matter of web hosting. The essence of reselling is to join the host business, helping to sell web hosting or other services such as the assistance with a domain name registration. Reselling can be divided into the standard and private one. The standard reselling can be explained by a situation when you are working under somebody’s brand name and earning a percentage of sales. The first type of reselling is not particularly interesting. Working as a reseller in this case is more similar to the work of an advertising agent. On the other hand this allows you to work without any problems. All you need to do in this case is to create a certain site, though in most cases you’ll be given the ready one. You should pay for a domain name and count your money. The typical duty for all resellers is to find and attract clients.

From my point of view the private brand reselling is more attractive in this case. Certainly it depends on a particular company. As usual it’s a small, young company, often consisting of one or two employees who are the owners of this company. The company itself can be located anywhere, such as Australia, Canada, Germany and so on. Servers are rented usually in the USA, but in other counties it’s also possible to find providers specializing in providing services to resellers. Sometimes large companies offer services to private brand reselling, however, at much higher prices.

For a very modest amount resellers are provided with two DNS servers. And nobody will be able to associate it with the real hoster. It goes without saying that they will be provided with the sufficient amount of disk space. As for their traffic I can say that they will also be given the sufficient amount of it which is quite enough to maintain a normal functioning of 50 - 100 sites.
Certainly they will be given the access to the control panel from which a reseller can create websites for his clients and manage these sites as well as watch over the expenditure of clients’ resources. That is my brief review about reselling. So it’s up to you to decide whether you are going to become a reseller or not.

Nowadays many companies hide behind what seems to be a lovely notion as best web hosting. Though this positive notion helps to make more sales, the term of best web hosting is very vague.
